Your Business Has Potential

We help you realize it, We help you protect it!

Over the last few years, I've been doing a tremendous amount of consulting with the primary focus on social media infrastructure and strategy as well as reputation and crisis management on both a corporate and personal level.

Last year I sensed a shift in the way SEO was affecting online searches as well as the overall direction of the way people use the Internet. It was more than obvious as Google themselves continue to change their algorithm and modify things to just work better. Their attempt at an internal social network was the most obvious admission to the true direction of the future of search. Social media quickly started outpacing the search engines in terms of the way people look for and respond to information.

The idea that a company or a person can find information about something that is current and relevant to the tune of 5 to 10 minutes ago as opposed to results from 5 to 10 years ago has become increasingly appealing, which has led to a lot of changes in the way people seek out businesses, products, services, opportunities, and a lot of information. People now exclusively use social media to share. They share thoughts about personal issues, thought about business issues, products, services, and experiences that have a direct and often a profound impact on the way small businesses operate.

Over the past couple of years we've seen some companies produce tools to help small businesses monitor some of the things and even Google themselves has come out with an alert capability to be informed of mentions of your specific keywords.

I knew that this was not going to be enough. Not only did people need to know when their company, products, services, employees, owners were being talked about, they also needed a way to easily interact and also have the ability to turn prospects into customers and negative reviews into satisfied or positive reviews - or at the very least mitigate the issue so it doesn't become a bigger problem for the business. Small businesses also needed a way to utilize social media that doesn't overwhelm them from the standpoint of time or complexity.

I've always believed that small businesses are the backbone for this country. The vast majority of employees are employed by small businesses. I believe that people with an idea should have the opportunity to turn that idea into something that helps their community and the people that need those products and services. In the end I've always believed that if you can put together a business then there is always the potential to succeed.

This is the reason I created POTENTL. Giving the small businesses - whether you are a one man show owning a direct selling business or a small mom and pop, brick and mortar local flower shop, the tools to succeed in today's digital world. From using in managing social media to monitoring and managing your reviews, your website traffic, your website analytics, and your online reputation, to a variety of other small business marketing tools, potential continues to grow to meet the needs of small businesses.
